Volunteer Call & Meeting
The time has come for another exciting, fun-filled festival! Join us for our annual volunteer call and meeting to get information about getting involved with the 2012 Moisture Festival.
When: Wednesday February 1st, 7pm
Where: Hale's Palladium in Fremont. Go to the back side of Hale's Brewery at 4301 Leary Way NW. Look for the big Moisture Festival sign.
Our amazing volunteers make it possible to present this unique festival. Last year we filled over 1000 shifts with over 200 volunteers and we're ready to do it all over again. Join the party and help create the largest vaudeville, comedy, variete, burlesque showcase of it's kind.
At this meeting we'll be talking about the many ways you can get involved with the festival from building and set up of the festival, to working at the shows, to donating housing for performers and more.
You'll have an opportunity to meet the festival organizers, and learn more about the volunteer teams and what kinds of volunteer positions will be available. After the meeting, mingle with new and old volunteers and enjoy drinks and pizza.
If you have never volunteered for the festival before we highly encourage you to come to this meeting. Likewise, if you are interested in some of the teams you haven't participated in before, this is a chance to talk to the team coordinators and learn more.
If you cannot attend the meeting, fear not! We would still love to have you aboard during festival time. Sign up on the festival's Shiftboard to receive a recap of the meeting and to be included in future emails and shift scheduling.
We look forward to sharing with you the latest Moisture Festival developments. It's going to be an exciting year! For more information email volunteers@moisturefestival.org.
Run away with the circus! We have a lot of fun together creating this festival, can't wait to see you there!

It, too, was aged for 22 month.s in 100% new French oak. Opaque purple-colored, it has a splendid perfume of violets, wood 'smoke, truffle, Asian spices, black cherry, and black currant preserves. Opulent and mouth-coating, the layers of complex flavors nearly hide enough tannin to support 8-10 years of additional cellaring. The oak, tannin, and acidity are beautifully integrated and the lengthy finish lasts for well over a minute.
