"Blurred Lines" and "The Gospel of The Gutter Queen"

Moisture artists are making headlines with a parody of the controversial Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" music video.  Mod Carousel, a local boylesque troupe of The Luminous Pariah, Paris Original, and Trojan Original with Caela Bailey, Sydni Devereux, and Dalisha Phillips, blur the lines of the original creating their own gender swapped take of the video that's going viral on YouTube and making headlines (Huffington Post, Jezebel, Slate) across the country.

Mod Carousel elaborates: "It's our opinion that most attempts to show female objectification in the media by swapping the genders serve more to ridicule the male body than to highlight the extent to which women get objectified and do everyone a disservice. We made this video specifically to show a spectrum of sexuality as well as present both women and men in a positive light, one where objectifying men is more than alright and where women can be strong and sexy without negative repercussions."

Caela Baily has been busy.  Along with the winning "Blurred Lines" project Caela has been working on a project to launch her first album "The Gospel of The Gutter Queen".

"This project is a lifetime in the making. The songs we are recording have been the sound track that has been created through all of our adventures."
