Moisture Festival Performer Interviews - The 'Internationally' Famous Rubberband Boy

In 2011 the Moisture Festival scheduled the Famous Rubberband Boy for the festival but an earthquake in his hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand and a bureaucratic performer visa process stopped it from happening. But persistance has paid off and we are so pleased to have him here finally for this year's festival.

His act of facial contortion and pogo stick straight jacket escapology has been viewed in 15 countries including as the New Zealand representative at "The World Gurning Championships" in Japan. Shay is the holder of The Guinness World Record for facial contortion. His act demonstrates an exceptional degree of originality and extraordinary creativity. He is in high demand due to his international reputation as one of the funniest Varietè performer in the world. The rave reviews from his 2011 tours of Europe and Canada have us hopeful that the Visa will come through ... 'The Rubberband Boy, Man or Monster? You decide!
